What is a Spiritual Awakening

Its been 5 years into my Kundalini Awakening, and still I find it can be so easy to get lost. Yet so easy to find your path agin.
Someone described a spiritual awakening to me once as an iceberg. There is some visible on the tip and yet most of its mass is hidden underwater.
The conscious part of us - the way we see life the way we are aware of patterns and habits in our life is the top - coming out of the water.

The bottom half is whats hidden inside us, be that patterns, old emotions, generational traumas and more.
An awakening can be the shedding of all the unconscious gunk and all that we are not seemingly aware of to find a higher frequency- a lighter, brighter, more joyus way of life.
But first we must feel and melt and let everything that is not really the essence of what our soul is go.
Its very easy to continue a pattern of fear and anxiety.
And it is a choice to recognize what is good in life. Its a choice to believe! Its a choice to remain in fun and light heartedness.
Its a choice to let the stress go, the control patterning and the negativity we see so clearly at times, '
But none of this is really necessary. We do not need to stress. We can simply just be.
And it really takes time and mastery and an opening up of awareness to see that! Time is really your friend.
But every single day you can choose to remain in a high vibration, by speaking with love, by thinking loving thoughts by being grateful.
I keep hearing the message that "your wasting your time" and really the only time we waste is time spent on worrying, in fear, in denial, in anger and in reminiscing
on bad memories. We waste our time by not doing the things we love or want to do becuase of what someone else said or a fear we have hidden deep below,
I dont mean to be in toxic positivity because feeling through and greiving all these emotions and fears is necessary and uncomfortable and the harder part of the task. But by awakening - the freedom from being free from these anchors is worth it!!!
And while I am not perfect and used to wish I was - I know that I am enough. There is always more healing to do and more awakening to take place.
But make sure you enjoy and focus on the belief that everything is truly going your way.
Laugh, live, love is not a cliche its really a reminder to let it go - have thanks for today the next step is already on its way.
